To have the total number of treatment fields at hand by pressing a button is interesting. But the database gives us many more possibilities.
The KFJ as a fully digital department has never used film. All our images (Portal, Simulation, CT, Brachy) were digital from the beginning. Therefore we installed a counter that counts the number of port images the same way it counts treatment fields.
The number of digital portal images in the database is quite impressive:
